Nuevas Generaciones denuncia la falta de apoyo de la Junta a los centros de información juvenil

· Enrique Rodríguez, presidente de NNGG de Andalucía: ”Más del 20% de los municipios de la provincia no tienen un centro de información juvenil”
· El PP reclama a la Junta ayudas económicas de hasta 5 millones de euros para la ampliación y renovación de estos centros, que ofrecen una información vital para los jóvenes

En la provincia hay 106 centros, la mayoría de ellos están sustentados por los ayuntamientos, que, señala el presidente de NNGG de Sevilla, Pedro González, “una vez más tienen que cubrir las carencias de la Junta” . -NNGG del PP-A ha denunciado la falta de apoyo de la Junta a la red de centros de información juvenil a nivel andaluz y en particular en la provincia sevillana, donde de los 106 centros existentes ninguno es de la Junta sino que, en su mayor parte, son soportados por los presupuestos municipales.
El presidente de NNGG de Andalucía, Enrique Rodríguez, y el presidente de NNGG de Sevilla, Pedro González, han recordado que el próximo 17 de abril se celebra el Día Europeo de la Información Juvenil. Para Andalucía esa jornada no será de celebración ya que “muchos jóvenes no saben dónde acudir para obtener información“ que puede serles vital.
Enrique Rodríguez ha recordado que en Andalucía “el 52% de los municipios no cuentan con ningún centro de información juvenil” y que en el 64% de los centros existentes no se puede tramitar el carné joven. “En el caso de la provincia de Sevilla, más del 20% de los municipios no tienen un centro de información juvenil y en más del 30% de ellos no se emite el carné joven”, .
El presidente de NNGG Sevilla, Pedro González, ha subrayado que de los 106 centros de información juvenil existentes en la provincia “en ninguno participa la Junta”, 88 dependen de los presupuestos de sus ayuntamientos, 11 son de asociaciones y sindicatos y 7 del Ministerio de Defensa. Eso supone que la información que los jóvenes necesitan en materia de ocio, formación becas, salud o empleo “no llega a todos los jóvenes”. “Una vez más se demuestra el nulo compromiso del Gobierno de Susana Díaz, del PSOE, con las políticas de Juventud”.
Nuevas Generaciones ha recordado que el Estatuto de Andalucía otorga a la administración autonómica las competencias exclusivas en materia de Juventud y que tras 28 años de abandono, el Gobierno andaluz “no se puede seguir escondiendo en los ayuntamientos y entidades para que estos ejerzan sus competencias”.
Ante esta situación, el PP-A va a presentar una proposición no de ley en la que reclama la ampliación de la red de centros de información juvenil para que alcance al 100% de la población joven con una convocatoria por valor de 5 millones de euros para sufragar los gastos de funcionamiento e inversión en la creación y modernización de instalaciones. “Queremos una mejora integral de los servicios de información juvenil”.
